
INTRODUCTION
This recipe requires some prep time but it’s easy to make, and it’s very flavorful! The recipe below is good for about 3 servings, and it’s best when you accompany the ribs with some rice, salad, and any side dishes you might have in your fridge! Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
- 2-2.5 Lbs of Pork spareribs
- 1/4 Cup Soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp Gochugaru (ground red pepper)
- 2 Tbsp Maesil Syrup
- 2 Tbsp Mirin
- 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1.5 Tbsp Sugar
- 4-5 Garlic cloves (minced)
- 1/2 White onion (minced)
- 4 Slices of ginger
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add ginger slices to a large pot of boiling water
- Add pork spareribs into pot and boil on medium heat for 40 minutes
- Discard ginger slices and rinse spareribs in cool water
- Mix all remaining ingredients together for the marinade and pour over spareribs in a container
- Marinade for 2 hours (or overnight) in the refrigerator – halfway through, flip the spareribs to marinate the other side
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- Bake the spare ribs for 25 minutes. Halfway through the baking, flip the spareribs to other side while basting with marinade
Plate it and eat it with a side of salad, and rice!
